so the sickness has finally hit our home, so how much do i give....

Sunday after lunch I came down with the stomach virus. Luckily it lasted about 1.5 days. So then i start to feeling up to par and Megan wakes up from her nap, all flushed and I knew immediately that she had a fever. i took her temp, and it was 102.7. she has never had a temp. that high. So i called Sam and then the doctor, which since it was after hours, it took app. 30 min to call me back. He really told me nothing that i didnt know already or hadn't done. keep her hydrated, Give Motrin every 6 hours, call us if there are anymore concerns. The thing that I am still amazed about is...whenever they tell me the dosage of Meds, they always just say... give her_____, and then i say well she only weighs 17 lbs and then they say.... oh well then only give her_____. they totally base it on age and if i hadnt said anything, what could happen??? I know i may sound like a worry wart... but anyways.... This is why I will always make sure I am totally understanding and thorough in my conversations with doctors, especially when I am dealing with my child

Megan has been asleep for about 1 hour now and i really should be taking advantage of it. atleast doing some sort of cleaning-- laundry, vacuming, just something other than being wrapped up in blog world. well it is fun:) and that is why I blog.
